Dark Matter release date

The science fiction series "Dark Matter" has been airing on the American cable channel SyFy Universal since June 12. The show, created by the creators of "Stargate", will appeal to fans of space adventures. The script is based on Joseph Mallozzi's comic of the same name.

The plot revolves around six people who wake up from suspended animation at the same time aboard a drifting spaceship in open space. They are united by a complete lack of memories, which will gradually return to them as the script unfolds. Initially, the guys don't know who they are, and only a whole bunch of weapons on board gives them a clue. Soon they realize that they are all professional assassins. An encrypted file on the computer tells them about their mission: they were sent to the destination planet to completely exterminate its population. The mercenaries decide to refuse their task, so the client decides to send a new team to sabotage the reactor. Thanks to their skills, the guys try to help each other and gradually find opportunities to discover the whole truth about themselves. Each episode awaits them with a multitude of threats that they can only overcome through collective effort.
