"Good Wife" is a Russian remake of the internationally renowned foreign TV series of the same name. The premiere of the remake is scheduled for 2019 on Channel One, whose specialists already have a lot of experience with similar television projects. The professionals from the Sony Pictures Television department, known as "Lean-M," have already successfully remade the American show "Everybody Loves Raymond," known to us as "Voroniny."

It is known that according to the script, the domestic adaptation should not differ much from the original plot. The film will tell the story of a successful wife of a prosecutor from the American city of Chicago, who was accused of bribery and promptly incarcerated. The strong and intelligent woman needs to start practicing law again to improve her family's financial situation after her husband's arrest. Each new episode of the TV show tells the story of a separate trial in which the famous defense attorney takes part. They are a prototype of real legal proceedings that were reported on by the mass media and are known to practically the whole world. This only increases attention to the investigation conducted by an outstanding lawyer, who is also desperately fighting and trying with all her efforts to get her spouse out of trouble.
