About the plot

The series "Karpov" tells the audience the story of an operative named Stas, who lost his badge and rank as a result of a shootout. Instead of serving a prison sentence, he was sent to a psychiatric hospital, after which he was left with an "empty shell." After his release, he decided to help people and has been doing so for three seasons. In the final part of the story, Karpov and like-minded people tried to eliminate a gang of pedophiles who were sending very young girls into sexual slavery from the walls of an orphanage. They were not able to fully uncover this scheme since during a fight on the streets, Karpov was stabbed in the stomach, which led to his death. The remaining accomplices, who were dispensing their own justice, were also sent to prison.
