Killjoys release date

Starting from June 19, 2015, a science fiction series called "Killjoys" premiered on the SyFy channel. This space show from Canada was created by Michelle Lovretta.

The plot of this television series unfolds in the planetary system of the star Quad. The powerful Council of Nine is in charge of governing the planets, as well as their subsidiary trading-military organization called "The Company." Depending on their financial status, people in this system are scattered across different planets: the wealthy reside on the paradise planet of Qresh, while the rest have to live in the destroyed Westerley, plagued by constant ion storms and "The Company" factories. Order in this society is maintained by the RAC (Reclamation and Apprehension Coalition), whose agents, known as Killjoys, are paid to capture or kill individuals who have crossed the line of the law. The series follows the lives of a pair of such bounty hunters, Johnny Jaqobis and his partner D'avin, who has a very dark past. Additionally, their native brother, Dutch, joins them - a soldier who has been issued a "kill warrant." The plot not only depicts their regular work in searching for criminals but also an alternative storyline where each of them reveals their own past and untangles themselves from the complex situations of the class war within the Quad planetary system.
