The production center "Sreda" in collaboration with the First Channel has released an absolutely unprecedented series "The Method" partially based on real events. The main roles are played by Konstantin Khabensky, who is to play the role of a maniac in a multi-series film.

The plot of the series revolves around Rodion Meglin, a high-level investigator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who solves murder after murder. Contrary to other police officers, he easily finds clues to serial killers and can fully understand their actions, simply not giving them a chance to escape justice. Everything changes when his superiors send him a young employee, Yesenia, for training, who happens to be the daughter of a high-ranking official. Between them, a love affair develops, which will inevitably lead to the revelation of Rodion's true nature - like those he has arrested, he is a serial killer. Thanks to his high moral principles, he only kills those who can escape justice, while sending the rest behind bars or to a psychiatric clinic. But what will happen when the student sees her teacher's true face?

The first season of the series "The Method" only begins to introduce us to this intricate story of the lives of investigator Meglin and Yesenia. Together, they solve a series of murders that occur throughout the first 16 episodes of the series. The director of the series, Yuri Bykov, promises to show us not only the murders but also a touching love story. Many of you may think that the show is a copy of the American TV series "Dexter," but apart from the similarity in concept, there is nothing more, as assured by Sasha Tsekalo, who participated in the project's creation.
