In 2018, directors Sergey Bystritsky and Sergey Vinokurov released a new joint multi-series project called "Prospect Oborony" ("Defense Avenue"). The dramatic series consists of sixteen episodes, with the screenplay written by Anton Zhdanov and Bogdan Bogdanov.

The main character of the film is Denis Astrakhov. He has long known what he wants to do with his life. The guy sees himself only as an athlete, but despite his goal, he ruins his entire career. The thing is that Denis did not show up for the title fight of the champion of his city. Now it doesn't matter why he did it, he needs to fix everything soon. The guy finds out that the local authorities can arrange another match specifically for Astrakhov, but it requires a hefty payment. So the athlete decides to agree to the offer to bribe the tournament organizers, but first he has to work a lot to gather the necessary amount. Denis is invited to participate in commercial fights where he can earn well and quickly. Soon, the guy learns that he is destined to be a simple statistic and he must give victories in boxing matches to his opponent. Astrakhov is not willing to lose, but he simply needs the money. The guy's situation worsens even more as Denis discovers that his beloved wife has long been in love with someone else. Moreover, the person with whom the boxer's wife is cheating with turns out to be the father of the main character.
