Reign release date
"Reign" is a TV series that was released in America under the direction of Laurie McCarthy and Stephanie Sengupta. The film tells the story of the French queen Mary Stuart and her life during her ascension to the monarchy. Two seasons have already been aired, and the successful project has been extended for another one.
The action begins in 1557, when the Scottish queen Mary is imprisoned in a monastery to prevent her from being kidnapped. It is the sisters of the temple who help her overcome the machinations of enemies who wish to kill her. The queen was betrothed to Prince Francis before being confined to the monastery, and she must return. The alliance lacks love, as it is based on strategic advantages. Intrigues are the foundation of life in the palace. The union will help the king conquer another country and expand the territory of the state. The illegitimate son does not want this marriage and tries to prevent it with all his might. In troubled times, Nostradamus sees the death of Francis, caused by the alliance. Catherine de' Medici values the happiness and life of her child above all political intrigues, so she tries to save the prince. Even the highest dark forces oppose the union, and this greatly affects the superstitious people.
