The Fox channel has planned many premieres for 2017. Among them is the dramatic series "Firearm". The directors of the film, Millicent Shelton and Gina Prince-Bythewood, decided to tackle a relevant issue for American society.

Most often, the victims of these tragedies are representatives of the African American population of the country. All victims lived in disadvantaged areas and resisted law enforcement officers. The creators of the series "Firearm" have turned this situation inside out. The action unfolds in a city called Tennessee. One of the African American police officers shot a white teenager. During the investigation of the incident, the man stated that the young man responded aggressively and attempted to take away his weapon when asked to exit the vehicle.
