Mark Kinsella, the executive producer of the TV series "Strike", promised the audience that Season 4 will be released closer to the beginning of 2020.
The broadcast of the last episode of the third part took place on the TV channel "BBC One" in March 2018. Joanne Rowling decided to experiment with literary genres and created a thrilling work that served as the basis for this detective project.
Plot of Season 4
The central figure is a guy named Cormoran, who served in a military unit in the past and carried out dangerous missions. He has been to hotspots and witnessed atrocities taking place in Afghanistan. During a routine operation, he tried to save a fellow soldier, but ended up with serious injuries. He has to finish his service and return to his hometown. The main character decides to make money as a private detective and opens his own agency. One of his clients is an influential wealthy man. The entrepreneur hires the detective to find out the true cause of his beloved sister's death. He refuses to believe that his close relative committed suicide, but law enforcement officials have no strong grounds to suspect anyone of her murder. The resourceful young man takes on the case and discovers astonishing details of the recent crime.
The main roles were played by: Tom Burke, known for his films "Only God Forgives" and "Third Star", Holliday Grainger, who starred in the films "Tulip Fever" and "And Then We Danced", Killian Scott, who participated in the films "The English Game" and "Traders", and other artists.
The premiere started on August 27, 2017. There are 7 episodes produced. After returning to London, the former officer sets up a detective business.
