The TV series "Teen Wolf" premiered on MTV on June 5, 2011. The show was created by Jeff Davis based on the eponymous film released in 1985 in the USA.

The script follows the story of 16-year-old teenager Scott McCall who, by fate, finds himself in the woods on a full moon night and is bitten by an unknown creature. At first, he believes it's something like a wolf, but soon he notices changes within himself: his physical strength multiplies, his hearing and sense of smell become like that of an animal, and his reflexes and regenerative speed become lightning-fast. Later on, while researching the matter, he discovers that he has been infected by what is called lycanthropy, or as it is commonly known, turned into a werewolf. Over time, he meets another werewolf, Derek Hale, who helps McCall learn to control his animal instincts and the accompanying power. Together, they want to track down the Alpha and kill it in order to protect Scott's friends and family. Additionally, the boy finds out that the relatives of his girlfriend, Allison Argent, are hereditary hunters of werewolves. Because of this, they prohibit the couple from seeing each other and begin to oppose Scott and Derek, but that doesn't stop the student from secretly seeing his beloved.
