In the first half of 2017, a comedy series called "Adaptation" will be released on the entertainment channel TNT. The director of this project is Fyodor Stukov, who has recently gained fame for the sitcom "Phys Ed."

The series revolves around an American spy. US oil companies are trying to carry out a shale revolution, which can only be hindered by new gas extraction technologies in the city of Noyabrsk. In order to stop their breakthrough, intelligence services send an undercover agent to Russia, who must infiltrate Gazprom and stop the developers of the invention, as well as bring their documentation back to his homeland. To do this, he has to adapt to the realities of life in Russia and become a true Russian. The spy will have to consume a lot of alcohol and live like an ordinary Russian without giving himself away. After the developed and cultured America, this becomes an almost impossible task. But the spy is helped by his newfound friends. As he begins to understand the life and color of the nation, doubts arise in the spy regarding the feasibility of the mission, but there is no way to retreat...
