Dedicated to fans of American writer Stephen King's novels, the series embodies the well-known characters from fourteen works of the science fiction author. The video service team at Hulu, in active collaboration with producer J.J. Abrams and Stephen King as the screenwriter, created a television anthology of stories that intertwine in one location – the town of Castle Rock. The first season consists of ten episodes, which are not limited to a single plot. In the following installments, fans can expect new discoveries from talented developers with unique storylines.

At first glance, the quiet Castle Rock appears to be an ordinary place populated by ordinary individuals. However, every corner of the land holds its own secrets, both frightening and convoluted. Everything called destiny does not apply to Castle Rock because every event is preceded by hidden causes – savage murders, violence, disappearances. Intrigues envelop everyone who finds themselves on the territory of the settlement, shrouded in a mystical blanket. One of the victims of this bewitched place is Molly Strand, a real estate agent. The girl suffers from an incurable disease and faces difficulties at work since people are reluctant to buy houses for understandable reasons. Another resident is Henry, a lawyer who takes on the cases of those sentenced to death. The lawyer's fate is interesting because his mother is a long-time resident and may provide answers to the incredible incidents. Historian Jackie, bewitched by Castle Rock's deadly secrets, strives to find an archive where answers to many haunting questions are stored.
