The Star Media film studio for the Fifth Channel from Russia has created a new detective melodrama called "Method of Polyakova". The multi-series film will start in the second half of 2017 and will delight viewers with its captivating plot.

The main protagonist of the script is Nadezhda Viktorovna Polyakova. A middle-aged woman who has successfully arranged her own life - she is married and has three children: Nikita, Petya, and Veronika. On the career front, she is a deservedly successful and in-demand specialist. But in a beautiful moment, her beautiful world turns upside down: while Nadia was busy raising her youngest son and creating comfort in their home, her husband takes on a lover. Naturally, Polyakova does not forgive such betrayal and they break up. The woman decides to come out of maternity leave to somehow get away from the difficult situation and clear her mind. Police officer Nadya Polyakova returns to investigating new cases. But during her absence, the chief of the department has changed - Nikolay Kryukov has been appointed as the chief of the Main Department of Internal Affairs. A strong antipathy arises between investigator Polyakova and Kryukov. Soon, the feelings of the main protagonist change in the exact opposite way...
