On the American youth channel MTV, the 1st episode of the 7th season of the series "Teen Wolf" (also known as "Оборотень") will not be released, as the sixth part became the final. This was announced by the executive producer of the show, Jeff Davis, during the annual Comic Con - 2016 exhibition.
According to the actors and creators of the project, the script of "Teen Wolf" will be brought to a logical conclusion, and the 6th season itself will be an excellent gift for the viewers. The decision to close the show was not made spontaneously - the reason for this was the declining ratings, and in order not to spoil the good reputation, MTV decided to abandon the fantasy drama. Despite the official statements, there is still hope for a new season or at least a spin-off.
Plot of the series
The TV series "Teen Wolf" tells the story of the life of American teenager Scott McCall. One day, the sixteen-year-old boy finds himself in the forest at night, where he is attacked by a very large and strange wolf. At first, he thinks he has become a victim of a wild animal, but closer to the first full moon, he acquires unexpected abilities: super strength, rapid healing of wounds, enhanced sense of smell and hearing, as well as predator reflexes. It turns out that he is not the only one like this, and soon he is introduced to other werewolves. All of them were turned by the Alpha, who will do the same to his family and girlfriend if the mythical creature is not stopped.
The main characters of the show are the teenager Scott (played by Tyler Posey), his girlfriend Allison Argent (played by Crystal Marie Reed), the best friend of the main character Stiles (actor Dylan O'Brien), and others.
Over the course of 6 seasons, "Teen Wolf" will have shown a little over 100 episodes. The show premiered on June 5, 2011. The plot of the series is based on the eponymous film released in 1985.
